FREE-RANGE AOUDAD HUNTING
12,000 acres of rolling hills on The Headwaters of the Guadalupe River offer one of the most unique free-range Aoudad hunts in the state. Big bluffs, cliffs, oak mottes, cedar breaks, and live-oak-covered hills offer the perfect habitat for big Aoudad. Due to the vast landscape and the rugged country, this is a very physically-demanding hunt that requires reliable and durable gear. If you are looking for a challenging hunt with big rewards, this is for you. The best time of year for this hunt is the last two weeks of October, during the peak of the Aoudad rut.
